RAINFOREST established in 1990 is well known for excellent high-end teakwood furniture, specialising in Burmese Golden Teakwood. Rainforest is managed by three pro-active partners backed by a group of loyal and dynamic experienced staff.

Rainforest is a member of Malaysia Furniture Industry Council (MFIC) and currently produce most of its design furniture in a 10,000 square feet factory that employs over 50 workers supervised by four seniors skilled in "Shanghainese" carpentry thereby ensuring and maintaining consistent quality.

Rainforest also employs skilled craftsmen from Myanmar and Thailand and only the best grade teakwood is used. Being an environmentally conscious company, Rainforest strives to produce quality furniture that will last, using only wood from dealers with legitimate concessions.

Rainforest has earned a household name through retailing fine home furnishing (furniture and accessories) for bungalows, condominium owners and expatriates in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Rainforest is also working with the local architects and designers to supply finished furniture to resorts, hotels and developers.

Known for its Burmese Teakwood contemporary design in lime wash and teak oil finishing, each piece of furniture is hand-rubbed and polished to maintain a natural golden brown characteristic of teak. We also stock traditional and rustic range design from Indonesia, India and Philippines and re-export some through our many associates.

Rainforest's dedication in manufacturing good quality and creative design teakwood furniture has resulted in order-enquiries from Japan, France, Taiwan, Australia and Holland. By the way, all our furniture for export is packed using bubble wrap and corrugated paper to minimise damage. Customized furniture for home and office can be arranged upon request.

Our long-term strategy is to penetrate the international market through fairs and exhibitions overseas by showing our potential customers value for money. We intend to introduce the world to our high quality furniture and earn our rightful place with the big boys in the global market
